戲裡戲外，舞台上下，真假人生虛實難分。基阿魯斯達米的《大寫特寫》，冒牌大導麥馬巴夫訛稱開新戲騙財被揭發送官究治，基氏乘機拍攝審訊過程，並作案件重演。真．麥馬巴夫同場現身，罪犯出獄後竟真的投身電影業。積葵利維特的《四人幫》，寫四個醉心劇場的女生來到嚴格大師班，自我給一一敲碎，現實生活更有神秘男闖進來，驚慄、懸疑和陰謀貫穿女兒世界。四女孩演出奔放，好玩即興大放異彩。戲如人生，人生如戲。

Film and reality. Truth and fiction. On screen and in life. Abbas Kiarostami probes the frontiers between these extremes in CLOSE-UP, where we enter the multi-layered story of the real-life trial of a man who impersonated filmmaker Mohsen Makhmalbaf, documented and restaged again by Kiarostami, with all the original participants acting as themselves. In GANG OF FOUR, Jacques Rivette muses on the dubious interstices between acting and ‘real life’ through four acting students studying under the enigmatic theatre master, as a mysterious man begins to approach each lady under different pretenses. Where does the truth lie, in reality or the stage?
