美女與野獸、黑月亮

尚高克多的《美女與野獸》可謂奇幻電影先驅，已故著名影評人Roger Ebert譽之為史上其中一部最奇妙的電影。除了目不暇給的魔幻元素，更把畫家古斯塔夫多雷與維梅爾的繪畫美學融入電影佈景與攝影調度，並以超現實的創意，直抵潛意識，透視原始慾望。飾演野獸的Jean Marais，正是尚高克多的繆斯與伴侶，演繹了銀幕上最美的野獸。

《黑月亮》則猶如佛洛依德的青春期成長寓言，在女性主義運動蓬勃發展的七十年代，路易馬盧在自己的農莊，開啟了夢幻世界之門，在房子的歷史味道裡找到靈感。《愛麗絲夢遊仙境》的少女掉進兔子洞，《黑月亮》的少女在兩性戰爭下出逃，就在農莊進入撲朔迷離的仙境，一切奇幻意象都等待觀眾自行解讀。

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and BLACK MOON

Jean Cocteau's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is a pioneer of fantasy films. Film critic Roger Ebert called it "one of the most magical of all films." The cinematography and production design were intended to evoke the illustrations and engravings of Gustave Dore and the paintings of Jan Vermeer, making the film a feast for the eyes. Jean Marais, who plays the Beast, was Cocteau's muse and lover, and he perfectly portrays the most beautiful beast onscreen.

Shot at his own remote farmhouse, BLACK MOON is Louis Malle's most personal and experimental films. Set in a post-apocalyptic world of dreamlike fantasy and play like a Freudian tale of adolescent sexuality, a young woman is embroiled in the surreal domestic odyssey of a mysterious family. Malle admitted that the film was inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, and you are free to deconstruct the imagery and symbolism on your own.
