HKIFF41 kicks off with stellar guests World Premiere of Love Off the Cuff!

11 April 2017 (Hong Kong) – The 41st Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF41) opened tonight at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre with the World Premiere of Love Off the Cuff. Director PANG Ho-cheung, stars Miriam YEUNG, Shawn YUE and other casts including Paul CHUN, Susan SHAW Yam-yam, Derek TSANG, Isabel CHAN, June LAM Siu-ha, Matt CHOW, Jolane KOO, Dada CHAN, Tarah CHAN and Stephanie AU Hoi-shun attended the opening ceremony. The HKIFF41 ambassador Louis KOO Tin-lok and other celebrities including Charmaine SHEH Sze-man, Irene WAN, Mark LUI, Jade LEUNG and Elena KONG May-yee were all present to kick off the 15-day festival.

Dr. Wilfred WONG, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS), together with Mr. Gregory SO, GBS, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, officiated at the opening ceremony. Dr. Wong said, “Organised for more than forty years, the Hong Kong International Film Festival has been dedicated to showcasing the latest works and classics of cinema from all over the world. We are also pleased to bring film talents, both local and international, to meet our audiences. The Festival has proven itself to be a major event in the international cultural calendar.
