HAFCommemorates Renowned Film Producer WOUTER BARENDRECHT with New AwardDedicated to the memory of the renowned film producer and co-founder of the Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), the organisers of the HAF are honoured to present a new award named the Wouter Barendrecht Award.

As the founder of Fortissimo Films, BARENDRECHT had been credited with helping a generation of Asian filmmakers to reach a global audience, including WONG Kar-wai, IWAI Shunji, TIAN Zhuang-zhuang, WANG Xiao-shuai, ZHANG Yang, RATANARUANG Pen-ek and ZHANG Yuan.

Along with the Wouter Barendrecht Award, four other awards will also be presented to recognise outstanding potential: two HAF Awards, Technicolor Asia Awards and Paris Project Award.
