? #HKIFF41 Festival Daily: After the screening of Lady of the Lake on 13 April at the sky, director Haobam Paban Kumar met with the audience and shared his creative inspiration of the film.

Kumar comes from Manipul, the northeastern part of India, where guns are all around. “The presence of guns may lead to unnecessary fear and conflict. When I was thinking of making a feature film, the story of a gun came into my mind,” he said. He has been making documentaries in the past decade, and Lady of the Lake is his first fiction feature film. #hkiff #ladyofthelake
