氹氹轉、剃刀邊緣

積葵利維特的《氹氹轉》一反《狂戀》的嚴密結構，前提是峰迴路轉驚魂記，《巴黎最後探戈》的瑪莉亞雪妮黛點名安地華荷愛將祖戴力山曹合演，兩人卻擦出敵視火花，暗合利維特的電影理想：拍片真是歷險。看兩傳奇演員既愛又恨，大提琴和單簧管現場即興的鏡頭憂憂愁愁切入，令全片的神秘節奏更迷人。

白賴仁狄龐馬的《剃刀邊緣》在希治閣名作《觸目驚心》之上再作變奏，大膽描寫女性性幻想及性壓抑，卻招來反對性暴力的組織杯葛，然而片中女性的恐懼及不安，很多是來自導演的內心深淵，分裂人格的爭鬥，呼應了他首部驚慄作品《奇胎怪案》。

MERRY-GO-ROUND and DRESSED TO KILL

MERRY-GO-ROUND is a playful yet intriguing adventure by French New Wave director Jacques Rivette. On screen, it is a story of two strangers tangled in a complex mystery, leading the audience into an enigmatic world of parallel existence. Off camera, the stars Maria Schneider and Joe Dallesandro played a real life drama of personal crises and open hostility which is equally sensational.

Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's PSYCHO, Brian De Palma took a step forward in putting extreme sexual fantasies and suppression into DRESSED TO KILL. Delving into the abyss of women's fear of violence, the film might as well reflect the director's own psychic angst, echoing his debut feature SISTERS.
