Verbal of m-flo + Mademoiselle Yulia with DJ Mykal in Taipei Videos + Pics

I'll admit,  I didn't just randomly pick Taiwan for my vacation,  during New Years DJ Noodles told me that DJ Mykal would be hosting an event featuring the best MC in Japan,  Verbal, so of course I made sure I came this weekend. 

Verbal has been/is a member of two of the dominant Hip-Hop acts in Japan,  m-flo and more recently the Teriyaki Boyz (which you may remember from such Etchy blog entries as this one), he also does a lot of collaborations with pop artists including Namie Amuro and most recently BoA (which you may remember from such Etchy blog entries as this one). 

The event was held at 'The Wall', which is a not-so-large band show type space. It was pretty full when we got there, maybe about 300 people there?  It was Mykal, Verbal and Mademoiselle Yulia.   I thought Verbal was just going to DJ, but of course he picked up the mic and ended up doing quite a bit of rapping.  Basically its like we got a very intimiate m-flo concert! (and he did Teriyaki Boyz too btw!)
