Night Biking in TST

A few weeks ago  Marco and I met up in Yau Ma Tei for some late night urban bike riding.

We met up at Jimmy Mak's bike shop.  Jimmy as in 麥文威! 

The problem is that Jimmy and his pals are into BMX bikes and doing fancy tricks with them. (whereas I normally ride a mountain bike).

Luckily they had a mountain bike to lend me:

why do the seats have to be so low! :-P

unfortunately i couldn't take many photos cause it was dark and we were riding around too much to take a decent shot.  :-P

It was fun, but they were doing fancy tricks on their bikes while I was just watching (cause even if I knew how to do the fancy tricks I wouldn't be able to do it on the bike I was riding...) 

ultimately we ended up hanging out in East TST for a late night snack...  and watching the prostitutes on the prowl accosting Japanese business men, etc... (i used to live near here, so I'm quite familiar with the perils of this area late at night).
