Nigel Ong's Skate First Party Featuring 24 Herbs!

Hey guys!  I'm so tired!  I'm back in the office after our big party for the Skate First DVD!  Thanks again to all the sponsors and people who helped out.

Thanks to Beck's, thanks to Zaza,  thanks to Element Skateboards, thanks to HK X-Fed! thanks to 24Herbs,  thanks to all our volunteers. ;-)

It was so hectic,  I want to apologize in advance if I was distracted!   Lots of small speed bumps, but the thing happened and the turnout was GREAT... much better than I had even hoped!!!

Speed bump #1 - the sign board is too big to take in the elevator (no duh!?!?)  They had to take it apart and carry it up the stairs...  

Next time don't get the 8'x12' size. :-P

(remember I said yesterday that I'd be happy if 200 people showed up? I think we may have surpassed that!)

Around 9:30 the press session started... better late than never!

Finally the men of the hour came:

They went nuts on the sign board! ;-)

The Beautiful Ms. Dolphin Yu was reluctant to do the press run,  but i was able to twist her arm to rEpReSeNt!

The final artist to do the sign board was Daniel Wu.  Worth the wait!

Thanks to Element Skateboards, we did some door prizes.  I was too busy running around grabbing stuff and making up #'s... so I didn't get any pictures (I'm sure everyone else will have me on film holding up skateboards and backpacks).  :-P

Last but definitely not least,  a great set by 24Herbs!

The place stayed packed for quite a while after 24 finished.  People were just hanging out and enjoying their BECK'S BEER.

Things started to wind down around 12:45...  just enjoying the last of the beer. ;-)
