久ちゃん pt. 2

Day 2 - 美ちゃん was working this day, so it was just me and 久ちゃん for most of the day. 

今日僕は久ちゃんにたくさん所へ連れて行った。美ちゃんは仕事するから、始まるところは：

Despite bad air quality and super sunny conditions,  I packed a lot into the plan for Saturday.  Starting with:

Wow, Cecilia Cheung's got her own star now?   This must be new... 

Dim Sum at the East Ocean restaurant in TST.  The Egg Tarts were the best part. ;-)

もちろん香港へ行ったら、飲茶を食べなければなりませんよ！

Then it was up to Mongkok for an illustrative lesson in what '人海人山' means!

  I think because I got delegated to photo taker for 久ちゃん with her camera, I missed a lot of the better shots w/ my camera, including gold fish street, etc.  doh.  i'll have to go back by myself and take my time. :-P

モングコーク、人一杯よ！

After some souvenir shopping (not pictured!),  it was over to the HK side:

I think 久ちゃん was impressed w/ some of HK's more futuristic public works...

ミドーレベルスのエスカライーターで

One of the good things about having a friend visiting from another Asian country is that to them even western food is something they want to try... (whereas for a friend visiting from the US, going to eat American food is the last thing they want).     久ちゃん really wanted to go to Subway, but instead we settled for Pizza Express (which was pretty good) with Pat and Stephen.

10時ぐらい友達と一緒HK Liveのショウへ行った：

Around 10 we headed down to the Fringe Club for HK Live's monthly show:

DP! 600lbs of molten metal!

Afterwards a bunch of us met up at Rack's.  Unfortunately no Hollywood celebrities happened to be there that night  for 久ちゃん to see.  doh. :-P
