In Guilin...

I'm in China right now...  I took my mom to Guilin for the weekend. Guilin is one of the most beautiful places in China (if not the world) scenery wise...  very interesting rock formations all over the place... 

We flew in this evening... Tomorrow we do the boat cruise down the Li River...  I took some nice night time shots around the downtown area tonight, but i just realized that I didn't bring my USB connector for my camera.  (I recently got an 8 gig SD card for my camera, but it doesn't work in my laptop's 4 year old card slot!) 

so you'll have to wait til i get back for new photos....

i hope the scenery is still this good, the weather is not great up here this weekend... hopefully it doesn't rain at least.

btw,  we are staying in a pretty nice hotel,  they have BeeBeeCee W0rld here.  They've mentioned that there were pr0 tests and ri0ts in Tea Bet,  but when they gave a detailed report, the signal suddenly dropped out and the screen went black for a minute or two... when it came back the report had /just/ finished....  massive, massive coincidence. :-P
