Cheap iPhone 4 cases already on sale in China! #iphone4 accessories

Hey guys,  you may not have guessed it from my entryyesterday, but I was actually in Shenzhen (right across the border from here in HK).    While I was over there I did a bit of shopping. I got a new external battery for my iphone 3G,  but I asked the people at the one shop I always go to if the iPhone4 has reached China yet.

The answer is no,  but that hasn't stopped them from releasing cases already!

I'm guessing there are a few hundred thousand of these already in a shipping container to the US right now,  but here's what they look like if you can't wait:

Comes in more than one color!

unlike the official Apple 'bumper', this one goes around the entire back of the phone and clips on the front edge somehow.

The sales girls here were completely cool with me taking photos. They even arranged them for this group shot.  I think there were actually even more colors than these available....  The asking price for these was about 35 RMB (~US$6).   I'm sure you can get it much lower if you bargain of course.... this is China after all. :-P

Yes that's right... don't just be the first in your neighborhood with an iphone4,  don't just be the first with a colorful bootleg iPhone4 cover...   be the first with a bootleg HELLO KITTY design on your colorful bootleg iPhone4 case! :-D

Also comes in multiple colors!

FYI - this is just one of about a million shops in this particular part of town selling this kind of stuff.  Check out their regular stuff in the display case:

imitation iPods of all flavors and colors.

And a bit further down, the real fakers...  imitation iPhones, Nokias and something that looks like a fake Blackberry... :-P

Anyway,  anyone want iPhone4 cases?  I can pick you up one next time I go (willing to trade for an iPhone 4!)
