This past week was tough for blogs... between work and trying to get my japan clubbing video done, I didn't have time to post anything up from those nights out. let me give you a compressed version though... 今週も一度とても忙しかった! MV撮った後、もう友達のDJパーティへいった。
Tuesday was that 24 herbs video shoot, Wednesday was a party at "1/5", featuring Tungtung on the DJ tables:
But actually this was not until well into the evening...
First there was drinking... it was a grand opening party for the redone 1/5 restaurant (i think), so they had free booze... since Etchy doesn't drink, i had to abstain, but lucky TungTung used her star power and beauty to convince them to give poor Etchy a coke. :-P
こんのパーティで無料酒とワイン有った、でも僕は酒をぜんぜん飲まないんです。。。 バレーちゃん達も居ました!
I was also happy to see my friends from the HK Ballet there. Including Laura and Selina. It was my first time seeing most of them since watching 'Swan Lake' last month, so it was a chance to tell them how I liked their performances.
But we were all kinda hungry, since we hadn't eaten dinner, so some of us went down the street to grab a quick bite to eat:
Thats... what I got. i thought it would be more like a egg fried rice w/ ham based on the name... it is egg, rice and pork products, but not exactly mixed the way I expected. ;-)
ショウ後食事した、香港式よう!
Thursday Night was a (somewhat disappointing) party at a club called M1nt in SoHo... we got the hook-up from Sam, but for some reason our table was all dudes! doh.
I enjoyed the shark tank they had built in to the back wall, it was pretty amazing... my camera even gives sharks red-eye! (or at least white eye). don't get the wrong idea, those shark s are all really small, like maybe 18" long or so. they probably can't bite you (too hard)... maybe take a finger off at worst! :-D
木曜日夜クラブのイベントも行った。ミニシャークタンクが在った!
You may recognize the AnD artist who joined us. Mr. Byron Mann, who is in town working on a new project. He is really cool, this is the first time I've met him. I'm hoping i can see his canadian emmy award nominated series 'Dragon Boys' on TV here in HK soon.
Ultimately we ended up going to Racks instead and shot some pool, we were much happier with the environment, less crowded, less noisy, not a sausage party. :-P
But I left around 1 because i was too tired from the previous nights... I tried to take a mini-bus to my new apartment (or actually to the Harbor Tunnel Toll Plaza near my house). i was amazed, I got home in like 10 minutes! if you get a bus that goes straight on the highway, you can get from central to the toll plaza in less than 5 minutes. wow!
I've got a LOT more pics (last weekend + this weekend!), i'll split them into different entries and put them up later today maybe. ;-)
