Back in the US 5: catching up again!

Ack,  i've fallen behind in my blogging again!  between the 4th of July BBQ and my travel (i'm in DC right now at my parents house for the next few days),  I have fallen behind again.

まだ遅いよ！ごめん！今両親の家へ行った。

One of the problems was internet access via my laptop in my parents place was tricky.  but all day today we've had this guy from Verizon over installing a new fiber optic data, phone, TV.  so byebye comcast. it included free wireless hooked up too, sweet!

now  the guy is giving my dad an introduction to the menu system on the set up box....   apparently if you're an HBO subscriber, you can do video on demand for all the hbo movies, and you can get a lot of comedy central and other free stuff on video on demand too.  cool,  I'm not leaving the house for the next 5 days!  (i noticed how much i miss good US programming! plus we have HD... so I get to see Conan O'Brien in all his unholy paleness...)

Anyway, to catch up - here's pics I took on monday morning.  Eyeh jr and her babysitter were at Casa De Yeh, so I decided to take the opportunity to head over the my old stomping grounds... as I had no wheels, I had to go back to my friend stinky BART:

  Ah,  sunny California skies! They do do a good job with the landscaping. 

カリフォルニアでいつでもとても良い天気が在る。今日とても晴れです。それからキャンパスとても綺麗でした。ここはSather Towerです。

I tried to find my old Chinese teacher, but no one was around, so i headed down to the ASUC to get some Cal logo shirts for some friends in Japan...(and a sweatshirt cause its friggin' cold in california compared to HK!)

after buying out the store, I headed to Telegraph:

香港より涼しから、大学の服店でSweater買った。お土産もかった。その後有名 Telegraph通りで昼ごはんを食べて行った：

  Telegraph is pretty much the same...  and of course so is Fat Slice (except the prices are a lot higher than when I left 3 years ago).

僕は３年前出ましたけど、あまり変わりません。一番好きなピーザ屋で昼御飯を食べました。Fat Slice（厚切り）と言います美味しそうですか？

Speaking of things that never leave:

The Yoshua guy!  Holy crap, this guy has been doing the same thing (and wearing the same T-shirt!?) for at least 15 years!  He hasn't aged (just a little bigger in the stomach).

Jeebus!

一番面白物はこの人を見た時。バークレーのキャンパスの近いたくさん頭が変人が有る。。。毎日色色な宗教と政治物話。僕は１９９２年からバークレーに住んでいした。１５年からですけど、同じ人が居ます！この人は何時でも” ヨシュア”話。。。とても変な人。。。
