cd album artwork

i’ve been working on cd album artwork for a band called “kill the pain”.

this is what the cover looks like as of late, and below is the process

this is the mock-up of what the album will look like, front and back, plus the inside booklet

i wrote the type by hand with paper i found in my closet and charcoal i bought back in 2003.

lyrics of the song  and my old charcoal. the charcoal was so old, it broke after a few strokes, but i used that to my advantage.

this is the summarized progression of work. the middle drawing is 90% finished, and the last leg of the work was polishing the illustrations so that it will look great when printed.
