John Edwards to endorse Barack Obama

Not only does Edwards say in the following video "I already voted for 'im" , when referring to the person he will endorse (around the 9:45 minute mark)... but when pressed earlier why he hadn't endorsed before he said "I might have missed something but I think Barack Obama has done pretty well without my endorsement". (around the 1:00 minute mark)

What is more of a surprise is why Edwards didn't endorse Obama earlier when since while on the trail he delineated clearly the three candidates' positions. Edwards sided with Barack, calling him another agent of change, and said both of them were facing Hillary who represents the Status Quo.
