Part of the reason why I've been faltering in my posting is that, as you can see in my earliest posts, once I get going on any given subject it's hard to stop. This means a bit more time away from the screenplays and the drawing board. But I'll try to be brief and more consistent. So today I was awoken by a nightmare. In fact that's why I'm writing this. I thought I'd clear my head before doing some proper fiction writing. It had to do with a life-threatening situation and my guilt-ridden anxiety at not being able to help someone in urgent need. It'd been a while since I've had a dream strong enough to shock me awake but here I am. What else is new? A new computer I'm very happy with. Been busy installing all the software I'll need for screenwriting, comic-book drawing, music recording etc. I'm currently immersed in an original screenplay after which I'll have to meet another deadline with another project. I also got an informal offer to adapt a very popular, critically-acclaimed tv-series but the producer told me the rights are being disputed so that could take a while. I know about the good reputation of the series but that's about it. My cousins whose taste I trust completely are fans of the show and talk wonders about about the quality of the writing and impact it had on them so I'll be sure to check it out when the rights are secured. I've never adapted a tv-series into a movie (it'd be a thriller they tell me) so it could be very exciting. It could never take off so I'll leave it right there. I'm getting too sleepy anyway.
Hope you like the little widget I placed on the right hand column so you can see what I'm listening to at any given time.
