Charity Film Screening for Japan - March 24

pictures dept.and Panorama Entertainment are pleased to announce that they are holding a screening of this film to aid the charity supporting victims of the Japanese earthquake (Tôhoku Kantô Great Earthquake) that occurred on 11th March.

It is being shown at the Hong Kong film market FILMART, which is being held from the 20th March.Panorama Entertainment are providing the Chinese subtitled print free of charge and it will be opened for Hong Kong audience. Pictures dept. is also planning to throw TORONTO CHARITY SCREENING of FINE, TOTALLY FINE which is under preparation with Chris McGee, co-programmer, Shinsedai Cinema Festival in Toronto..

Due to tight scheduling we do not have enough time to notify the general public. We are going to take advantage of the Panorama Entertainment internal network, after 18th March, to try and spread this notification as wide as possible.

Background to the Charity Unfortunately, due to the lack of time we could not get permission for this charity activity from the authorities. Therefore we ask the audiences to check the JustGiving website for details on how to donate.pictures dept.have already been working with the charity.

So far for this charity we have received donations from the film director Sion Sono; the action film director Taku Sakaguchi; and the director of the film "Time Traveller: The Girl Who Leapt Through TIme" Massaki Taniguchi as well as Mr. Yoshinori Chiba, producer of SUSHI TYPHOON of Nikkatsu.

Also from overseas we have had contributions from Pusan International Film Festival director Kim Ji-Seok; the producer of "Ajoshi" Lee Tae Hun of Opus Pictures; NYAFF director Marc Walkow; Andrew Kirkham & Kazumi Inagaki of Silk Purse Enterprises in the UK; the film critic Don Brown and many others.
