Last night I dreamed I ran into you in HK (in real life we have never met). I said, "I wish I could see HK through your eyes." The next thing I know, you are taking a small group of us to see "your" HK. But it wasn't the HK I expected to see (urban HK), rather, it was pristine colonial villas, deteriorating villas, rural towns giving way to new housing estates. I feel like the newly whitewashed colonial villa with the brilliant blue(!) roof I saw in this dream is emblazoned in my mind forever. I wonder if it really exists?
