hello again. just wanted to let you guys know about part two of the shikishi series. it is out and ready to go.
i hope you guys enjoy the work. as each series progresses, i am trying to progress with it; this series dealt with issues around in/completeness. on juxtapoz' site someone had regarded my last series as being, "conserved"- i was a little happy to hear that because coincidentally with this set, i tried to let loose a bit more- let me know what you guys think.
this was over at DRAWN!, but i had to post it, so mesmerizing- and the music is perfect.
i wonder what the asian art version would look like.

i am selling some new work that makes up a new ongoing, personal project. it is all original ink and acrylic, on 9.5 x 10.75" shikishi board. i am selling each painting for $88 USD (unless you are in canada, in which i will accept CAD), plus shipping and handling.
for those of you that want to know what shikishi board is, it is a board used for sumi-e painting or calligraphy, prepared with rice paper and bordered with a beautiful gold trim.

okay, okay so here's the breakdown.
