Producers, directors, fellow cast members have told me how they liked/loved me in a certain role. I appreciate it but SOMETIMES, I'm not sure if they actually mean it. They might have their own agenda for telling an actor that. Haha. (that's a list for another day) It's fine. It's good for the ego. But when an audience member comes up to me to tell me the same exact thing, how a performance made them FEEL something, that keeps me going. I think OK la, I must be doing something right ☺️ Best validation for me as an actor.
