400,000 Thank You's

The last one was in November of 2011.

Trying to have a theme and also carry forward from last time, I want to talk about the '4 digit club.'

Not all my entries are very popular, and some get very few views.Others get more significant traffic. So for this entry, let's look at things that have visit counts in... you guessed it, 4 digits.

My most popular entry remains “You Don’t have Big Feet,” with an astonishing 13,728  views, (up from 13,102 @ 300k). I’ve tried to find where/how/why this was linked or referenced, but no luck.

Speaking of outside reference, an entry I neglected to mention at 300,000 was , which currently has 4,881 views. But I know it got mentioned in some other places and linked to, which explains its popularity. 

An entry about my third trip to Tokyo has 1406 views, which is odd since there was nothing involving AV starlets on that trip.

There has been some vaguely encouraging news on the movie review front, though it is firmly nestled in a lot of predictable sludge. To wit:

I was glad to see my review of go from 943 to 1,071 views. Hardly a tidal wave, but it made the 4-digit cut. The same could be said of (1071 views) and (1180 views), two films I actually enjoyed and/or recommend.

I am glad to know that my review of has been viewed 4,167 times. Not because I think its a good review, but because I liked the film, and I don’t want people to think all my reviews are negative. 

My review of the Japanese trash festival has 2,695 views, and since I liked the film, I know that at least a couple thousand people got to hear me say something positive for a change.

Because I've reviewed a lot of movies I didn't like, and those reviews were seen over 1,000 times.
