Made it to Copenhagen, which is my first official stop on my Christmas Market expedition with @skyscanner! ✈️ So glad to be back in beautiful Nyhavn, which has been transformed with fairy lights and Christmas markets lining the harbor ✨ It's a bit of a contrast from last time I was sitting here, when I eating icecream in the sunshine, and NOT freezing my butt off! ? #letsgoeverywhere

Oh London, I swear you get more and more appealing by the day. Particularly when you bring out your Christmas game. Seriously, everyone needs to come and experience Christmas time in London at least once! Oxford street transforms with a spectacular array of fairy lights and decorations, an ice skating ring appears outside of the Tower of London, Hyde Park turns into a Winter Wonderland and Southbank comes alive with markets selling mulled wine and other Christmas goodies. Did I really wake up to this? Was my stay at the @shangrilalondon all but a dream? This was by far the most spectacular city hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying at ? -- It's so strange, but I really do live a life that is full of contrast. One night I'll be blessed enough to be able to stay in a place like this, but the next night I might be staying at a dodgy hostel. Just a little reminder that what you see on IG is generally just a highlights reel, and not a reflection of someone's whole life!

Just as I made it back to the UK, I couldn't resist sneaking off on one final adventure before the end of the year. What a magical month it has been in India. This chaotic and colorful country is so vastly different from anywhere else I've ever been before. It hasn't been an easy country to travel through, it's been challenging both physically and mentally. Yet there is something so special about this place and the people in that have made all the hard bits worth it. India, you now hold a very special place in my heart, and I'm sure I'll be seeing you again very soon.
