So now thugs are specifically targeting White journalists. Do they know who they are dealing with? One of the fallouts of the wars all over the world in the past 15+ years is that there are a lot of combat hardened news people out there. The thugs in HK are mistaken if they think they can intimidate these news professionals!

Not really "new" news, but a prestigious international media outlet saying what people have already suspected in HK.

I think it is time for an independent commission to investigate police-Triad links in this whole affair. Maybe Amnesty International or some other group should do it?

The situation earlier today in Mongkok. It seems the Triads are trying to break up the Pro-democracy demonstration areas there and in Causeway Bay.
