    Everytime I feel down or unhappy, I just have to come home to Esky. His calling for my attention, his meowing, his purring all seems to take my bothering thoughts away. Most importantly, his dependance on me make me feel important and wanted; makes me feel like at the very least, I have a purpose in this earth.

    i'm glad esky is there to accompany you through the good times and the bad. it's nice to know that you have someone you could be completely comfortable with. esky's a good pet ^-^

    but in my opinion, the best way to release unhappiness is by telling someone about it. whether or not that person understood you, the important thing is he/she listened and was able to sympathize with you ^-^

    remember that you have your family and friends who love you very much. we, at AnD, are also here for you \(^-^)/

    Sound like i should get a cat like your Esky. Everytime when i feel sad, i usually go to the place which near the sea.. u know, if u feel sad, i am sure lot of peoples would love to comfort u. Including me, coz i like to see yr photos with smile!

    Yeah, cats are great.  They are usually happy to see you (except when they're having one of their independent moments, just to prove to you (and themselves) that they are still a cat).  They don't care what kind of a day you've had, they're just glad you've come back to be with them (and feed them :-)).  Esky sounds like the best cat.  Does he give you special attention when you're upset or unhappy?  Henry will hang around when I'm unhappy and just keep an eye on me.  I know he cares, and that makes all the difference.
