this has been a crazy month. first off, this was the worst deadline i've had. and my boss told me that too! i definitely would not have finished everything without my coworker. he is awesome! he tackled a very complex transaction and created a nice, easy-to-follow, summarized workpaper. thank goodness he had time to help me. i would've been shaking my fists toward the sky to this day. ugh! i hope next year will be better!
after the deadline, i was gearing up for the film fest. now, each year had some pretty cool people attending the festival. but this year's fall fest, i was very anxious and excited mainly because i knew the alivenotdead family was coming. and there were a lot of family members. here's a list of their films: the heavenly kings (yay!), finishing the game, blood brothers, invisible target (which i missed but already own on dvd), west 32nd, the rebel, and the drummer. did i miss any? it was so cool to see the cast, crew, members, directors, and producers hanging around the theatres, night after night, introducing their movies, conducting Q&A sessions and seminars, and supporting each other's projects. i took some video and actually participated in the Q&A sessions.
i would post them but i haven't learned how to edit (me out of the) video yet. anyways, it was a lot of fun!
i'm glad the AnD family enjoyed themselves. the only bad part was that terence and sung couldn't come, and my battery died during the FTG Q&A session. oh, and some dude tried to follow me home after the fest.
halloween was quiet and rainy. lots of candy left. too bad my mom always buy the ones i don't eat. it's probably gonna stay in the cabinet 'til next year...
now, back to the routine life. and trying to catch up on my shows that i taped. so far, november is looking to be pretty stress-less...
