So after the long week of preparing my car for the track, the day has finally come: Industry Track Day! The day began at 3AM, when I woke up and double-checked to make sure I brought all the essentials for track, such as sunblock, extra coolant, a spare change of clothes, etc. I met up with Brian from CTO at 5AM, and then we headed on the road to Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, CA. So after taking care of tires first, I took the next day to take care of the other two most vital components for track: Brakes and Suspension.

It was reported just a few minutes ago that one of the most popular DJ's in the world was found dead in his NY apartment this afternoon. We have just lost one of the best DJ's in the scene today and one of the reasons I started DJ'ing. I remember when he was a member of Crazy Town when they first got famous. Two of the more memorable nights I have had in the past year involve seeing DJ AM live (at Hard Halloween last year and Cinespace Hollywood just a few weeks ago).

Monday I was invited to attend the private birthday party for some past America's Best Dance Crew stars. It was held at Level 3 Nightclub in Hollywood to celebrate the birthdays of Cindy Minowa (Kaba Modern), Do-Knock (SuperCrew) and Tiffany (Fanny Pak). There were guest performances from crews Kaba Modern, Kaba Modern Legacy, SuperCrew, Fanny Pak, Live in Color, and a vocal performance from Victor (Quest Crew) and Lydia (Boxcuttuhz). This coming Sunday, we are inviting all skaters from around Southern California to come compete in our "Skate the Shop" event presented by Kallusive, 9Star Skateshop, and AMP Energy.
