Kallusive Holiday 2008 and new website
We've been on the island of Oahu since this morning. Greeted by humidity and clouds and the ocean view 18 floors up from our condo, we've been enjoying the delicious food, hospitality, and escape from LA.
Join us Friday night at the W Hotel in Honolulu if you're in the area too. Members of our Kallusive Dance Crew (Ace, Jia, Laura Edwards) will also be teaching dance workshops on Saturday. Seems like a busy weekend around here with Hot Important Nights (HIN) and Pearl Harbor day just around the corner.
I was able to check out Nas at Club Nokia, one of the newest venues in downtown LA, across from the Staples Center at the LA Live entertainment complex. Club Nokia is the latest addition to the growing downtown nightlife experience. Here's a video of Nas performing Black President and Hero.

Cultureshock LA asked us to sponsor their fundraiser event to support hip hop dance programs. We headed downtown on Saturday to check out the festivities, but we had wander through Little Tokyo streets to pick up some kicks, grabbed a bite to eat, then partied at the art gallery after.
