Last Thursday was a long ass day for jeffstaple and Bun B. They flew into Nashville, Tennessee for less than 12 hours for a Meet-and-Greet at Phatkaps and to finally sit down for a candid 1-2-1 conversation… And this is the photo recap.

Before our Staple fall/winter season debut in Singapore and South East Asia, we managed to arrange a shoot session for friends by friends in our studio. It is always very inspiring to know people who are in fearless pursue of their exciting endeavours and passion therefore it is certainly most apt that i am joined by Victoria P. The new NFL season started last weekend, days before the 11th anniversary of September 11.
Around this time of year I often cast my mind back to the story Pat Tillman. Tillman was not only a college football standout at Arizona State University in the late 90′s, he also completed his degree in three and a half years with a 3.85 GPA. Unusual for sporting stars to say the least.
I was probably one of the last generations to watch Macgyver before it finally made it to DVD. I remember vividly when my sister forgot to set the VCR to record the Macgyver movie… devastated. I got over it, anyway I’ve always dreamt of seeing a revival and it’s here… sort of. Thanks to the overseas branch of Mercedes I can get excited to watch another episode of present day Macgyver, well webisodes anyway. It’s even approved by the creator of MacGyver, Lee David Zlotoff. I recently had the honor of being invited to The United Nations to witness a screening of ONE DAY ON EARTH .
“One Day on Earth” began in September 2008 as a new media project to create a unique video time capsule, global online community and feature-length film-all from participant footage captured during the 24-hour period of October 10, 2010 (10.10.10). The project is a shared public archive hosted by Vimeo, and its social network is powered by...Read more

I recently visited the Ezma factory in New Delhi to check out how the Kani shawls of Kashmir are woven. Some of these shawls take over 2 years! to weave because of their intricate nature. It’s cool that Ezma is helping keep the tradition alive by giving the workers a place to work as well as a percentage of the profits. The Kani shawls are woven with special wooden needles called Kanis, hence the name Kani shawls.
