They put up a valiant fight, but TerryBlack's moist brisket reigns supreme in my opinion. Micklethwait's was awesome & is an excellent backup to the ridiculousness of Franklin's...and only a short walk away. #Austin

When u cook beef at home, they suggest you let it rest for 5 mins before eating in order to let the juices absorb back into the meat. Here at Black's in #Austin, they let their brisket rest for five HOURS. Patience is a virtue. Patience is also burnt ends. Thanks for the pit tour!
