Superband was a great concert. It's some of the best music I've heard in awhile. These 4 gentlemen each had different things to offer: Emil - consistency, Jonathan - raw energy, A-Yue - youth and explosiveness, Lo Sa Yau - nostalgic Taiwanese sound from the 80's. Soul vs. No Soul

I always prefer soulful music to soulless music. That's quite a general statement.

What's soul music anyways? Not necessary "black" music. Honestly, I've heard some soulless black music (think some contestants at the "American Idol" auditions....). But anything that comes from the root of jazz and blues is pretty much guaranteed soulful.

Growing up in one night

This is a song that I'm quite proud of. It features my harmonica in the best light. Who says Cantopop is dead? Who says Andy Lau's career is over? This is one of the best Andy Lau songs in the past 20 years. Enjoy!

BBQ and Ping Kee (tied) - two delicious places on the same street in the Western District. Hard to top. It takes awhile to get a seat too.
