Talented Sickness was an experimental movement piece which incorporated paint alongside our choreographed movements. Being a painter, I felt very cautious about this idea of mixing these two mediums. Movement/dance... with painting... It was a hard but exciting process. How can we express this combination in the most honest way? Today June 17th (Sunday) at Sai Kun Bamboo Theater around 3:30pm, my friend Amy and I will be performing our piece "Talented Sickness". We decided to join this Annual Dance Collage Carnival and experiment our dancing paint idea! It was a challenging process. First of all, the method gets super messy, cannot expect what will happen with paint the next moment, and yeah.... How do we paint and move?
