A day past 1 year from the "Esther" showcase at the Esplanade concourse, I found myself reprising my role as Narrator for this muscial based on the Book of Esther in the Jewish bible.
This time round, we performed exclusively for the local Jewish community at the Jacob Balla Centre on 24 Waterloo Street..
They've got really nice stained-glass windows :)
...get to wear a trench coat. At least not in sunny Singapore you don't.
King Ahashuverosh... queen Esther... chief advisor Haman... Mordechai...any of these names ring a bell?
How about Xerxes? The god-king in "300", you say? Well, we all know he was Persian. But 'Ahashuverosh' was his Jewish name...bet you didn't know that huh? :P

I played the role of the manager in the courier company where the main character works. He gets passed over for a promotion, which spurrs him to take night classes where he meets his former school teacher.
