Erin Quill is a dual citizen of the United States and Australia. In Australia, she is the Grand-Niece of Caleb Shang, the first Chinese Australian to receive medals for bravery, she is also a Cousin of famed Chinese Australian Photographer, William Yang. Her Grandmother, Alma Shang Fang Yuen, was a noted pianist. Her Mother came to the United States to study dance with Martha Graham, after becoming an Advanced Teacher in the Royal Ballet of England.
On her Father's side, she is related to the founder of the Transit worker's Union, Mike Quill. Her Father is a well known Labor Attorney. Her Uncle, John E. Quill, was a Producer who won an EMMY Award for his miniseries, PLAYING FOR TIME, starring Vanessa Redgrave.
She has been performing since she was a child, and was an original cast member of the TONY Award Winning Musical, AVENUE Q. She has shot pilots for BRAVO, PICTURE THIS TV, AMC, and TV guest stars. She is a popular cabaret performer, whose shows have been seen in NY, LA, and Sydney, Australia.
