Live drawing?! Ever-so-slightly nerve-wracking, I must say. But all's well with a cocktail or two, and it went off without a hitch at the launch of the 2013 Business of Design Week Media Preview Event at W Hong Kong. Here's my latest interactive artwork, intended as a game and teaching tool for kids. Children are encouraged to interact with this mixed media painting (painted on a wooden board, with holes drilled for string) by practicing tying their shoe laces. I tried to create a wide variety of shoe sizes, to symbolize the types of shoes that would be worn by a family.Read more
It's always a blast working on the set designs for YCIS, and this year was no different. The Secondary School here in Hong Kong put on a production of the classic . I designed the sets, which were built and finished by a local production house, with the exception of a few pieces which my team and I hand-painted.

Oops - this is long past, but thought I'd share my illustrated lettering for the Yew Chung International School of Hong Kong's "FLASH! 80th Anniversary Art Exhibition" from this past June. Can I say how much I any excuse to do hand-lettering?
