Just a couple weeks into the new year and already January is packed with several key birthdays.
One in particular is our very own Patrick Lee - RottenDoubt, PatDoubt, Big Kahuna of AliveNotDead.
And of course, in typical AliveNotDead style, this was not just a birthday party but a EVENT PARTY! Patrick was able to convince the SANDS CASINO MACAU to book VIP Lounge, The View, plus 200 complimentary ferry tickets from Hong Kong, and also FREE Remi Martin throughout the night! Can this man set up a party or what?!
So off we went:
Pat and most of the group stayed at The Venetian, which is owned by The SANDS. But that place was 20 minutes away on Taipa, so I decided to book it into THE GRAND LISBOA, which was only a few minutes away.
We all met at THE SANDS and grabbed some quick grub before heading up.
This was the view from "The View", at the top of THE SANDS.
The doors opened and we were greeted to a very atmospheric VIP lounge, with fantastic decor and live dancers!
Soon we met the man of the moment...
Birthday boy himself, Patrick Lee was all smiles.
The other special guest was none other than Simon Yin!
Soon it was time for the cake...
And being the awesome guy that he is, Patrick shared the spotlight with fellow January babies...
and then another...
and then another...
Then a group cut of the cake!
The crowd looked on an cheered!
Then it was back to partying!
Simon even showed us his "special technique":
Other special guests:
Andrew Lin was getting all cute.
Race + Rozy + Simon = Attack Force 2RY!
Philip Ng represented CB FRESH
Andy On felt liberated.
Junny even showed up.
Unfortunately he was late so he had to be "frisked".
Then came the time for Patrick to dance on the podium...
... where he was quickly joined by Simon!
The dancing then continued to the floor...
Unfortunately things went from bad to worse from there...
With too much heat, Simon had to quickly go undercover...
More debachery:
Simon and Patrick tried to grab a quick rest...
... which meant that it was picture time for EVERYBODY!
It was soon time to move onto the next venue, so Patrick gave a rally cry and we all moved out!
We all stumbled into the lobby and tried to grab cabs...
The next stop was in the AIA Tower at a place called CUBIC.
Unfortunately, before we could go up, Patrick had a slight problem...
He went up the wrong escalator, and then couldn't come down!
In the end, the team came to the rescue and got our boy down!
Mission Accomplished!
A little "assistance" was given to Patrick.
We finally made it in and the debachery continued!
Patrick's final look before heading back to his hotel room.
The next day before heading back to Hong Kong, Jun was kind enough to give me his tour of Macau.
He picked us up in this really cute cool Mini which he personally rebuilt. Its like a toy!
Inside was even cooler, with red and white colors and a cool retro-fitted style.
One more for the road before heading back to Hong Kong.
