The loss of one of Hollywood's greats...Paul Newman, you will be missed

For many ofthe movies that I watched as a kid, Paul Newman left an indelible mark on me. He had charisma and was a marvelous actor. Although I was mostly inspired by James Dean, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was my favorite western and to this day, still is. The Sting was my favorite "buddy" movie and still is.

I never got to meet him.

But if I ever did, I always wanted to challenge him to a hard boiled egg eatingf contest...

Iron Man

This past weekend, I ventured out to my local cinema to catch the film Iron Man directed by Jon Favreau and starring Robert Downey Jr., Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Terrance Howard.

I have been a huge fan of superhero comic book film adaptions even dating back to SUPERMAN with the late Christopher Reeves.
