It's been a long long time since I was able to sit down and really write something here.  Lots of up and downs in the past few months, and I'm glad to finally be able to breath a bit.  When I flew here to HK, I had a return flight scheduled for NYC next week for Halloween gatherings with my friends and for the election.  But things have been crazy the past few weeks for me, and I wasn't even sure about flying back at this time.  Right now I'm 90% certain I will be able to make the trip now.

The past 6 months had been wild as I said, lots of good times, but with plenty of bad time in between.  Let's just say the bad time has a bit to do w/ the current Financial crisis, but indirectly b/c my day job is in the midst of it.  Well, let's just say because of this 'Financial Tsunami' I had lost lots of peace.  With this trip, i'm hoping to find that peace back.

But enough of the bad stuff, let's review the good parts in the past half year.  I have had lots of quality time with family here.  I was great to celebrate my newphew's 1st birthday last night too.  Beside family time, lots of the best part about the last few months were all brought through this site Alive not Dead.  Can't imagine how things would be if not for these guys and what they're doing here in HK and on the Internet.  It was amazing to meet the 'cast and crew' of the operation from the first week I got here.  If not for them, the 'CB Fresh' crew would not have started.  We're is still growing throught the help of AnD and actually colleborating for the special Halloween party.  Too bad i can't make it, but hope you all will be able to go and have a great time meeting and loving 'CB Fresh'.

I'm looking forward to trip away from this city to re-FRESH and regain some sanity.  With the right luck, i would like to be back fully 100% myself and take on part 2 of my adventures here with the speed and optimism I started with 6 months ago.

While I'm in NY, RobLok, SimonYin, VinceMatthewChung and DerrickFong will be keeping Hong Kong CB FRESH while I try to recharge.  I know I haven't been able to contribute my portion of the FRESHNESS to the crew, but I hope to get a nice recharge of FRESHNESS from the ultimate source in the back alleys of NY.  I will then rejoin the team stronger than ever, and the power of the five will unite again....

    go, go CB Rangers....

Yeah Derrick, the pink ranger will have to be left unassigned.  By default, it would be me, but I don't like how the pink ranger wears a skirt.  The color itself can be cool... think MR. Pink in Reservoir Dogs

Well, the financial crisis isn't looking pretty here in New York as well - but at the end of the day, there's only so much we can do...  We just have to keep our minds open and focus on enjoy our lives (more)...
So, are you going to dress up for Halloween?
