Happy 2014

So first time I spend time in Rotterdam during New Years Eve and different then most other parts in Holland is there is an organised fireworks display, while most cities and villages people lid up their own fireworks. Here above you can see fireworks going off on the Erasmus Bridge, which is quite nice, but having seen the ones in Hong Kong and also filmed the International fireworks competition in Macau, I do feel it a bit of a short nor much special fireworks. Like in Hong Kong they even can fire up Chinese characters displayed in the air by fir...Read more

Haven't lost my touch yet in Graphic design, so gotten few email about some contest and see if there were few interesting ones I feel that I could probably win with a great looking logo. Well here is one for Athletes in Motion. While others were making fairly standard soccer logo's I use my standard tactics as ...Read more

DIY when its appropriate

In this video I want to explain when its appropriate to use DIY build and differences between certain levels of DIY. Even though most things start as a DIY even most invention are DIY projects that later become mostly a standard part of an equipment. However there are different levels and most important are the aesthetics of DIY as if it looks professional by all means it can be used for any moment but if you build some flimsy PVC rig I would only recommend using it for your self and not use it when someone hires you to film somethin...Read more

Falcon Eyes 70w 2005-16 bulb

I bought this bulb as I like using florescent light bulbs for lighting as good ones have large outputs, but not sure why but in Holland there is literally a huge lack of Daylight or 5500K light bulbs as I am searching shops high and low and not allot of people sell daylight coloured bulbs.

However I...Read more

Videopod vs Schoulder rig

As I see more and more people are obsess by shoulder rigs but is it really that great. Allot of them cost a fortune but also you have a video pod which is not that expensive but in my eye provides you with a greater support and stable shots but is much faster and easier to setup than a shoulder rig. In this videos I am comparing the Manfrotto 560B1 and the Opteka CXS300 which both cost the same during the time I made this video. But in my opinion the Manfrotto is worth more for your money than a shoulder rig as it is more stable ove...Read more
