    OK, as I promised, I am posting some pictures I took while in Oahu. It was a really awesome trip. I did a lot of hiking, some snorkeling (even saw the famous humuhumunukunukuapua'a) ! I'm having some problems loading pictures right now, so here are just a few...


    This is some Chinese temple by the botanical garden and Chinatown


    I thought it was nice that the birds got to join in on the temple offerings:)


    A very small but colorful Chinatown in Honolulu


    Some good looking Dragonfruit! But 5 bucks a piece??!??!!


    Cool statue with leis on it. Anyone know how I can rotate the pictures?

    OK, I'm going to wait a bit to try to post more pics. I'm having a little trouble with the uploading right now.

    hmm... you have to rotate the image first b/c importing... that probably was of no help... *eek* sorry...

    pictures rotation - are you using a mac?  i heard on iphoto, by default it doesn't actually rotate the original file when you have it rotate a picture, just a copy, so if you upload the original, its still not rotated (despite looking ok on your computer).   I think there's an option to turn this off, but i can't say for sure since i don't have a mac. :-(

    Check for any cd-rom's from your digital camera.  They usually bundle a program for rotating your pics and making the filesize smaller and other stuff like that.

    Aw fun! Wish I could travel the world. You'll have to rotate the pics on your computer. Most photo editing software can do it.
