Glamagem, sister company of our previous client Glamabox, came to us requesting celebrity social media marketing assistance for the launch of their new subscription jewelry service. We connected Glamagem to three artists that matched their target image and fan demographics - Shunza (Taiwan Singer based in Beijing), Ella Koon (Hong Kong Singer/Actress) and JJ (Mainland Model/Actress based in Hong Kong). Each shared a photo wearing the product and giving their personal impressions.
The results from the three celebrity posts included a total reach of over 1.7 million weibo users, collecting 166 comments and 98 forwards within a week of posting the final picture. More than half of the responders were first tier city residents in Mainland China.
