A slight hangover from a wedding reception yesterday.  Yes, my family can drink.  Me?  Not so much anymore.

People copying & pasting the same message in Jet's Guestbook a gazillion times in a row. It gives me an extreme case of deja vu, which brings on a headache that causes creases between my eyes.

Do you people want to pay for Botox if those creases decide to stay?? No??? Then cut it the f*ck out!!!

^^useless rant^

Seeker, I work in a clinic where we might be able to consider giving you some botox,  since I do the ordering.  I am annoyed today, because I wasn't going to the sister in tucson, and now I am.  It is a two hour drive.  No likey.

I b'lieve that was Yosemite Sam.
First 'real' day of the new job, and I am shell-f***ing-shocked. 3 weeks of training, and I still asked 2 customers on the phone, "Can I help you find something?" Sheesh. And I had my big effing binder out, and not a freakin second to open it, to find any-f***ing*-thing. I had so many freaky questions that I had no answers to. If there weren't supervisors there, to bail us out, well, I shudder to think. All of the stuff that we studied . . *poof!* Gone. . .
Thankfully, after lunch, it was better. But the day was just a haze. I can only pray that I can get into tech support, and work my way off the phones altogether. Eventually.
F**k me.

Poor Wu! I can see why you're shellshocked lol. I worked phones for a long time & when the calls come in one after the other after the..well, it can get nuts. Especially when you're still in the learning curve, but as you become more familiar with the material in that big book it'll get much easier, I bet. Will they let you take it home to familiarize yourself with the index or categories of info? It's good the supervisors are there to help with questions. Currently there's a 3 month on the job training program at the social service agency where I worked, but back in the day there was a 1 week 'orientation' to the agency & then we were thrown into having a caseload. It was insane to say the least.

Good luck, hang in there, you'll get used to it. : )

Didja know that Botox is tested on animals? And that if the animal doesn't suffer paralysis, the batch is no good? Most of the animals that are used in the testing of Botox die of suffocation, as result of their lungs being paralyzed?
It is prolly one of the most cruelty-heavy products in the 'anti-aging' market.
And I find that far, far beyond annoying.

Yikes. I figured there was some sort of Quality Control procedure & I knew bad Botox causes major problems. I didn't know they did that with each batch tho. : (

Wow...I wasn't aware of the Botox testing on animals either....

Believe it or not, there are actually other applications of Botox other than that of filling in wrinkles.  It's used on paralysis patients to help relax "tone" (also known as spasticity depending on which industry you're talking to...physical therapists vs. doctors).  Treatments usually consist of 100 cc to 300 cc given no sooner than ever three months.  Side-effects, though, include muscle diminishing, which, for paralysis patients, is already happening because of non-use (do you think I could have crammed in any more commas in that sentence?   ).

Okay...back to your regularily scheduled biotching thread!!!

Sure you could fit more commas-- if you want the Grammar Police to arrest you & throw away the key.
