Po Boy Tango, Theatrical Play

Just wrapped up a project not too long ago, this time I was hired to do sound design work for a theatrical play called Po Boy Tango from East West Players in Los Angeles.

It was a lot of fun doing this project since it was all about food!

The performance run starts from Nov. 12 to Dec. 6.

What I've been doing lately

I know I haven't blogged in quite a while but things have been pretty crazy lately.

I'm doing sound design for a musical that's about to start in a week or two so I gotta wrap that one up soon. Deadline is getting closer!

I'll post some more info on it once it starts.

I'm also writing and producing a couple of artist and we'll be heading into the studio to record in about a week or two as well. Its always exciting to go back in and have some fun. I'll post some pics after the...Read more

Kunming/Dali, Yunnan

After a few days in Beijing, its time for my next stop, Yunnan.

I had to leave at around 6 am to catch a plane for Kunming, Yunnan.

I think its the first time for me to actually walk up to a plane instead of walking into one.

Took a day tour in Dali. The first stop was Xi Zhou's Yen Family, who is the creator of the Pu-er tea that we drink today.

The Bai(White) Tribe lady made some nice tea for us to try. It was very very good.

Beijing Part 1

After about 20 hours of travel time(L.A. to Hong Kong, a few hours of waiting then about 3 more hours of flying), I finally arrived in Beijing! The weather is very nice here, sunny and warm.

Got a chance to walk around for a couple of days.

Yup, its time to do some traveling again!

I'm flying in a few hours and will be heading to LAX soon.
