How better to spend a rainy Sunday evening than meeting established and just-starting actors, directors, producers, writers, cameramen, sound dudes and editors over a pint of beer (or glass of wine) to talk about how we're all going to torture ourselves with the most fun and tiring weekend of our lives in October by making a fully finished short film in 48 Hours!!! You know what to do: start assembling your team - directors, editors, writers, actors, camera. And dont forget Sound!
Even if you dont have a team in place, you can register as a team leader and look for potential recruits at our online database. Or drop by our meet ups (next one is this Sunday, 6-9PM at the Fringe rooftop) to mingle with other loose ends.

Ok so we have the real dates now: October 15-17! After much scratching around, in between our day jobs and just being overcommitted in general, we have lined up exciting new venues, cinema, wrap party locale, and sponsors.Watch this space! (also I will try blogging more)
Get ready folks, 48 is coming to Hong Kong again. Last year we had 150 filmmakers. 150! Wowza.
Just had our first meet-up at bar de chois, Club 71. In the midst of a black rainstorm, dedicated filmmakers came out to chat and meet their potential team members for this year. A quick tip: we're maxing out at 30 teams this year, so start sourcing your people! Tentative dates for this year: September 17-19 (and screenings during the week)
